SKIN KISS - Caffeine Tights

I. Consumer Product Testing Co. (Fairfield, New Jersey, USA)

1. Clinical effectiveness:

The study involved a panel of 18 volunteers who agreed to wear microcapsule-impregnated tights for 21 days, replacing worn tights every 3 days and one rest day without tights before changing to the next pair. Hence each volunteer was provided with 6 pairs of tights. Protocol inclusion criteria included no current slimming diet, checked by weighting at the start and end of the study and a BMI between 20 and 25 (weight/height ratio). The measurements were necessary in order to assess biomechanical skin characteristics (form and firmness). Mean age of all volunteers was 45 years at an age range between 20 and 65 years.

Results:

After 21 days the thigh circumference was decreased by up to 2,2 cm. Improvements of the skin regarding firmness: + 4-5% Improvements to tone the skin: + 11-21% Resistance to fatigue: + 15-29%

The medical investigation found that the microcapsules did not cause visible skin changes, and/or irritations and allergies.

II. Institute Expertise Clinique (Lyon, France)

1. Investigation of the materials

At the Institute Expertise Clinique extensive toxicological, dermatological and micro-biological investigations were completed with the materials used in the tights. The test results found that the materials cause no health damage and lie within the prescribed tolerances level.

2. Clinical tests

The tights have been tested over a period of 48 hours by people between the age of 22 and 58. The medical test results have shown that no issues were found and that the values lie within the prescribed tolerance level. The experts (toxicologist, dermatologist, pharmacists and biochemist) certified the product as “very good” with respect to the completed tests.
